In all honesty if you have a cat in your life every single day is cat day as they fill your heart, rule your life, keep you on your toes.

Possibly it was invented more to bring awareness to those poor humans who have not been initiated into feline foreverness.

How wonderful that there is a day devoted to cats. Not of any color or breed. Or of any age (looking at you super sweet kittens). But just cats.

Go and hug a cat. Donate to a shelter. Or do any of the other great things suggested in the above links.

Of just stay here and look at some really cute cats and kittens.

Now maybe you would like to add one to your family???
