Sunday February 5.

The day when chicken wings, cheese balls and all kinds of dips are enjoyed.

And maybe a beer too.

Eyes will be staring at the television.

But what will they be watching?

Football?

The Half Time Show?

The super expensive and entertaining commercials?

The Budweiser Horses?

Well, no if they are the lovers of fluffy, little balls of fur.

Smart cat loving people will be watching the Kitten Bowl.

Hosted by the great folks at the Hallmark Channel The Kitten Bowl IV, now in its 4th year, is the perfect alternative to the Super Bowl, or just a warm up before the big game. Here is the chance to watch super cute and delightful kittens run around with footballs and play with each other, all attempting to steal your heart and make you go ahhhh.

4 teams Last Hope Lions, Boomer’s Bobcats, Northshore Bengals, and Home & Family Felines are chock full of cute and delightful kittens. With delightfully athletic names they dribble, dash, slash and much more. All of the kittens are were available for adoption and this show helps to bring awareness to shelter cats that need adoption. And happily all of the kittens found new homes.  But fear not, there is a Kittencam and there you can view kittens that are available for adoption from the North Shore Animal League.

Filled with kitten trading cards, kitten selfies and much more there is lots of fun to be had while visiting the Kitten Bowl. Fun for all the family, and the perfect antidote to Super Bowl-itis.

Similar to the Kitten Olympics this promises to be full of cute fluff and fun. What could be better for a cold winters day?

Kitten Bowl IV – 12pm / 3pm / 6pm Sunday February 5 on the Hallmark Channel.
