August 10 Is World Lion Day.
A day created to raise awareness of the danger lions are facing in the wild, from poaching, hunting, illegal trafficking and loss of their native environments.
So hard to believe that such creatures of magnificence and wonder are in danger with numbers that are dwindling.
Please take a moment to ponder a world where the lion won’t exist outside of a zoo.
And learn some of the efforts being used to save them.

Remember, lions may be the kings of the jungle but without our support they won’t survive.
