Think you don’t love poetry?

Well, do you love cats? If so, then poetry has already been part of your feline adoring life.

Think of “The Owl and The Pussycat” by Edward Lear and a considerably saucier version by Roald Dahl.  Such a poem that is so popular there are two unique versions of it!!

“The Three Little Kittens”. The classic little rhyme from Mother Goose. Who hasn’t learned this as a child?

And what about that most popular treat, “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats” which has delighted us for years as one of the most popular Broadway and theater shows.

This is just to name a few of the more popular poems and there are plenty more.

So in honor of National Poetry Month find a purrfect poem and why not read it to your feline friend?
